Workshop on the History of post-WWII International Organizations

 
The workshop was held on June 21, 2014 at the Department of Social and Educational Policy, University of the Peloponnese, Corinth.
Scholars who participated in the workshop discussed: a. the historical conditions that led to the foundation of numerous international organizations after WWII, b. international organizations’ role in consolidating perceptions of human mobility and in forming policies on economic and forced migration, c. their role in the shaping of a global policy agenda.

Workshop on the History of post-World War II Migration from Europe to Overseas Countries

 
The workshop was held on January 25, 2014 at the Department of Social and Educational Policy, University of the Peloponnese, Corinth.
Scholars who participated in the workshop discussed: a. the early post-WWII refugee and migration movements from Europe overseas, and, b. the terminology concerning human mobility that emerged during that period.

Workshop on Transnational Approaches to Historical Research

 
The workshop was held on June 22, 2013 at the Department of Social and Educational Policy, University of the Peloponnese, Corinth.
Scholars who participated in this workshop discussed the term transnationalism, in order to elucidate the methodological issues that a transnational perspective in historical research raises and to highlight its heuristic possibilities and limits.
